The Silk Road - A Journey of Peace

The Silk Road is not only a journey of trade between Asia and Europe, but also a journey of peace with the hope to understand and connect the world.

At the time of the World’s 70th Anniversary of the Victory over Fascist, inspired by the spirit of the Silk Road, the concert is a tribute to honour the brave and fallen.

Featuring Chinese classic the “Yellow River Piano Concerto” and one of the best Chinese composers – Chu Wanghua’s “The Silk Road Symphony”, the concert assembles renowned Australian musicians, including composer and Bassoon Performer George Dreyfus, pianist Caroline Almonte, conductor John Ferguson and the Pro-Musica Orchestra to salute the power of hope and the beauty of peace.
