HOLDING THE MAN
Thanks to Transmission Films, we have a number of double In-season passes to see Neil Armfield’s new Australian drama, HOLDING THE MAN– in cinemas nationally August 27.
Starring Ryan Corr, Craig Stott, Anthony LaPaglia, Kerry Fox, Guy Pearce and Sarah Snook, HOLDING THE MAN is the remarkable true-life story of Timothy Conigrave and John Caleo, whose love affair has been immortalised in Tim’s cult- classic and hilarious memoir, and Tommy Murphy’s award-winning stage play.
Tim and John fell in love as teenagers at their all boys’ high school. Their romance endured 15 years laughing in the face of everything life threw at it – the separations, the discriminations, the temptations, the jealousies and the losses – until the only problem that love can’t solve, tried to destroy them.
