Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games enjoyed a sell-out season in London’s West End last year, returning to The Dominion Theatre in March 2015 due to overwhelming popular demand.
This international production comes to Australia as part of a 15 country-tour, following an extensive UK tour.
Michael Flatley brought Irish Dance into the global spotlight more than 21 years ago, going on to create Lord of the Dance in 1996. Since then his name and the Lord of the Dance brand have become synonymous with spectacular artistry and grand scale productions that have mesmerized more than 60 million people in 68 countries around the world.
Flatley’s new show Dangerous Games has exciting and ground-breaking new technology, including holographs, dancing robots, world champion acrobats, and 34 of the greatest Irish Dancers in the world. A new score composed by Gerard Fahy, new choreography, stunning new costumes and special effect lighting add a breath-taking new dimension to the original masterpiece.
Lord of the Dance captivates audiences with its mesmerising dance styles rooted in the traditional form of Irish dance that has evolved over more than 2,000 years. The story is a classic tale of good vs evil based on old Irish folklore, as well as a passionate love story expressed through dance.
This latest version of the global dance phenomenon combines the best of tradition with all the excitement of new music and heart-stopping dance, making it perfect family entertainment.
Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games is created, directed and choreographed by Michael Flatley and is produced in Australia by Lunchbox Theatrical Productions and Base Entertainment Asia.

I've never seen one of these shows before and I am so glad I saw this one. The skill and precision of the dancers was amazing. My only complaint is that the busy backgrounds distracted from watching the brilliant dancing. I wanted to see dancers not unicorns.

Amazing show from beginning to end! Loved the Michael Flatley Hologram towards the end. Very much Cirque de Soleil kind of tone the way they had the wood spirit. Beautiful costumes and scenery. A lot of work went into this. And having half naked guys rather than just naked women helped..
I think that the dancing was cool and the costumes were brilliant. Some of the music was really relaxing and some was really cool. The story line was hard to follow at times but it was all up really good.
This show was brilliant - entertaining from beginning to end. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was wonderfully surprised. Go see this show if you can.

Great show, interesting to see how it's evolved over time. Loved the first one- loved this one. Fantastic male lead dancer. When the troupe dance together in step, in line, the energy levels in the theatre nearly blow the roof off.

From the initial, exaggerated-sized clock our attention was captured and filled with wonder and curiosity. Time precision was indicative of footwork precision, exacting dance routines, the quick passing of lifetime and a fast-paced storyline.
The atmosphere was electrical with the use of bold large-scaled holography, dramatic explosive sounds and roving light beams. Light/dark, good/evil, fantasy/reality were themes contrasted throughout. The 'good guy' was playfully mischievous, exceptionally talented and very engaging with his audience.
Tonight at the Perth Crown Theatre we were entranced by a brilliant and spectacular production!

This was a wonderful spectacle, cast was full of energy, music was great and the stunning sets were out of this world, computer graphics has arrived in theatre - hurrah. The story will appeal to the youngsters, the robots and holograms, of course good overcomes evil every time, but for me the fairy dancers were the biggest surprise when Irish dance meets ballet. Thank you for such a night of entertainment.

Spectacular'an energetic and captivating performance by a cast who clearly enjoyed themselves.
Highly skilled dancers and quite the spectacle. Forget about the story - it gets a bit silly at times - and be swept up in the energy. It is visually awesome and you can't help but be stirred by the big numbers. I've been humming Lord of the Dance ever since.
