The Greatest Love of All - The Whitney Houston Show
Showtime Australia will present the critically acclaimed live production, The Greatest Love of All - The Whitney Houston Show across Australia in January and February. A beautifully crafted tribute, the show will honour the talent, music and memory of one of the world’s most revered singers.
In preparation for such an anticipated show, Showtime Australia conducted over 15,000 auditions across 12 countries before selecting accomplished South African vocalist Belinda Davids who delivers the voice, charm, nuances, and even the gestures of Houston.
An undeniable talent, Davids recently won this year’s BBC ONE’s Even Better than the Real Thing which showcases the best musical tribute acts in the UK.
Accompanying the breathtaking vocals of Davids on stage will be a six-piece live band, and dancers, with an array of stunning replica costumes and full-scale lighting and effects.
The spectacular two-hour show will take audiences on a heartfelt musical journey through the greatest hits of Houston’s 30-year career including I Will Always Love You, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, How will I Know, One Moment in Time, I have Nothing, Didn’t we Almost Have it All, Greatest Love of All, Every Woman and many more.
Davids said, “Houston is my personal idol and the inspiration for my career when I began singing at the age of 14. I want people to remember Whitney for when she was amazing, for when she was the powerhouse, for when she was the voice. I want people to remember Whitney when she was at the top of her game!”

I went to see “The Greatest Love of All – The Whitney Houston Show”, expecting to see a typical tribute show, I came away feeling like I’d attended an actual Whitney Houston Concert. If you’re up for a night of screaming hot sax, this is the show for you!
The band were on fire, the back up singer was amazing, dancers were incredible and from the very first song she belted out – Belinda Davids was exceptional. Beautifully put together show mixing up ballads and dance songs that had everyone up and getting their groove on in the aisles. Very impressed with the seamless costume changes and overall feel of the show, came away quite emotional and in awe of Belinda’s vocal range and obvious love for Whitney and her music.

A great tribute to Whitney, you could tell the singer really loved her and did an amazing tribute emulating her. Everyone was incouraged to get up from their seats and dance which made this an interacting emotional journey which was a great and free! night out. Thank you on the house for an amazing experience.

Davids is a quality singer who sometimes overdid some of Houston's vocal characteristics. She fronts a solid band, too bad about the patchy sound and over-amplification which lessened our enjoyment. Plenty in the audience enjoyed dancing along, 3.5* and one for Houston fans or fans of 80s love songs.
Belinda was outstanding and captivating with her amazing tribute to Whitney. Her voice is truly incredible and this is one not to be missed!

Totally sensational. For over 2 hours Whitney's spirit lived on. Great musicians, great dancers and Belinda David's phenomenal voice brought the house down and had the entire audience on its feet. Go see it, even if you are not a Whitney fan.
