Yet another example of the horrors of war told beautifully, showing the waste of youth. Portrayed by a wonderful cast and realistic locations.
The impact of war on families and friends. And of coarse the ones who fought in it. Beautiful costumes and scenery.

Good adaptation of a fantastic book. It shows the devastating impact of WW1 from the point of view of a young woman. Quite timely, given the ANZAC centenary. Well made, good acting, great attention to detail. Highly recommended.
This is an amazing film which brings home the realisation of the horror and futility on war. It was totally heartbreaking in parts, showing the massive impact that this period had on the lives of the characters. Visually stunning also. Highly recommended.
