DOCTOR WHO SYMPHONIC SPECTACULAR RETURNS TO AUSTRALIA
Smash hit Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular returns to Australia with a brand new show in 2015, performing for the first time in Adelaide and Perth before returning to Sydney where it received a rapturous response from audiences in 2012.
The show will be hosted by fifth doctor Peter Davison. He will take to the stage alongside Daleks, Cybermen and a host of other Doctor Who monsters in this musical celebration of the iconic TV series, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
The new show will feature music from the upcoming new series of Doctor Who and specially edited sequences of Peter Capaldi’s debut as the Twelfth Doctor, as well as fan favourites from recent series and classic nostalgic footage.
Composer Murray Gold’s captivating scores will be performed by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra at Perth Arena and The Metropolitan Orchestra at the Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney. The 2015 tour, which will also perform in Auckland, New Zealand, is brought to audiences by BBC Worldwide Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) in association with AKM.
Murray Gold said: “Audiences will be able to hear the first public performances of music from the Capaldi era, encapsulating the dizzy rush and excitement of a new Doctor.”

We were very fortunate to be able to get tickets to this show. I only wish we could have had two more. A highlight of this year for my daughter!
I got these tickets for my partner for Christmas. I'm a casual fan, but he's a HUGE Doctor Who fanboy, and he LOST IT the entire time. The music was great, the picture reel was well-done, and the monsters were amazing. What a fun show! We really appreciate the opportunity to go.
What a great event..I watch this twice..last year which I paid and this year with courtesy of on the house..its def..got better.. Highly recommended.. All ages entertainment.. People dress up as Dr who character..powerful orchestra with TV scene in the big screen to take you to the Dr who fantasy.. We are so happy to saw the fifth doctor as the mc..its a wonderful night that me n my son will cherish forever.. PS..if u have extra $.spend for front premium seat..u can saw the Dr who famous monster up close.. One of them come to other cheaper seat..but just one.
