TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations.
Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species.
Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

It was amazing, we were seated at the back of the show tent and you still felt like you were apart of the action, the show was fast paced and took you on a journey through time with lots of humour and acrobats that took your breath away, at times I felt like I was right on Bondi Beach with the swimmers and surfers or sailing through Sydney Harbour. The band and singers were fabulous. I have to tell my friends to go see Totem ... otherwise they'll be wondering what I'm so happy about

The show was absolutely amazing! I was in total awe of the performers and their superhuman skills.
The location and audience set up were both amazing. The seating wasn’t overambitious which gave the arena quite an intimate feel, whilst still being able to pack in quite a few people. And the Moore Park location have the general atmosphere a great vibe.
I would recommend this show to anyone- love, love, loved it!

Absolutely amazing. The level of skill shown is unbelievable and the whole performance is visually spectacular. So spectacular, in fact, that you sometimes just get caught up in the beauty of it and forget that the performers are doing almost impossible feats.

The show was absolutely amazing from start to finish. This was my 3rd visit to see Cirque du Soleil and every single one has been awe inspiring. The lights, the music, the costumes, the skills of the performers all combined to cement the fantastic opinion I already have of Cirque du Soleil.

Great performance! Gymnasts, acrobats, music - amazing! Clowns, however, were boring in my opinion.
Completely mesmerising! This is the best show I have seen for a very long time. It was clever, funny and some of the acts seemed to go beyond what is humanly possible. Just brilliant. It makes me want to run away and join the circus!
