Chris Le Bon has been dazzling audiences for over 25 years, from boites in Paris to The Boite in Melbourne. As an internationally acclaimed crooner and bassist he has performed his repertoire of Jazz and R’n’B music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s around the world.
Direct from the UK, Paris and the French and Italian Riviera, his repertoire reflects his diverse musical influences and includes Jazz standards, Pop music, Soul, Big Band Swing and R’n’B from the 60’s and 70’s. As a Mauritian-born performer Chris is fluent in both English and French and performs beautifully in both languages. At Box Hill, Le Bon will be accompanied by John Curtis on keys, Salvatore Greco on piano accordion, Alex Yarosh on Guitar and James Osborne on drums.
With over 25 years of experience, exceptional charisma and a list of international performances that read like a map of the world, Chris Le Bon’s performance at The Box Hill Community Arts Centre will be an evening of exceptional music, superb showmanship and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun.
