Evenings at Elder Hall - Hansel and Gretel

Hansel and Gretel - a fairy-tale opera composed by Engelbert Humperdinck. Much admired for its folk music-inspired themes, Hansel and Gretel is a classic of the operatic repertoire which has never ceased to be performed since its creation in 1893. Based on the famous Brothers Grimm fairy tale it's an enchanting opera filled with refreshing melodies, rich orchestration and colourful characters.

Duration: Approx. 2 hours 30 minutes including a 20 minute interval.
