Well organised event and an overall pleasant day out for the family, although not overly suitable for younger children.

A lovely day with sunshine and flowers all around. A pleasant way to spend an afternoon with entertainment for the children and peaceful places to sit for the older visitors.

Gorgeous tulips and great to also see daffodils and other flowers, and sculptures in the garden. Lovely day out

The flowers are the true highlight but we really enjoyed the sculpture walk too. The crowds are maddening though. I would like to see more local produce companies selling picnic type things such as cheese, cured meats, bread etc so we could picnic as I don't really care for the overpriced junk food offerings at these big events holding a trapped audience.

Spectacular array of colourworks

Pluses: Lots to do on a beautiful day. Great wine at a decent price and the jazz was a high standard.

Minuses: Very pricey entry, too much junk food and not enough healty food and so very busy you have to be ready for crowds and to queue for everything.

The tulips are so bright and beautiful - there were so many varieties. We went on the Irish weekend and loved the music. The event was well catered. We had a great day.

My sister and I went on Sunday - the jazz music was great, the food was great, but the flowers were amazing. I bought two pots and a bunch of fresh tulips and I love them. I look forward to growing many, many more of these amazing flowers. I absolutely loved the "black" tulip - so intense in colour. Definitely work the trip out there. PS: the grounds were so clean and the staff were very friendly.

Fantastic! Was my first time at the festival and was pleased to hear that it was bigger than previous years, it made for an absolutely gorgeous day out.

It's getting too popular for it's own good. Losing a bit of the charm when there are so many people that you can hardly walk around. Good from an organizers perspective, bad from someone who just wants to get lost in the flowers.

Better than expected. Go at the start of the festival to see the flowers in the best condition.

The festival was absolutely wonderful with lots of atmosphere. The tulips were beautiful and overall it was a great day complemented by great weather. I highly recommend it and am definitely returning next year with my family.

A lovely day out and an amazing floral display.

This was really amazing. The floral mass of colour was spectacular. It was Irish day when our family went. My Grandaughter loved the fairy garden and the tall Leprauchan juggler who showed her how to juggle balls. I loved the Irish bands and the dancers.
There was agreat choice of foods and the icecreams were delicious and very generous. Parking was easy. A big crowd was present but easy to move from one area to another. Sculptures were interesting. We will definitely go next year too. A great event. Thankyou on the house

A truly magical day out with spectacular colour and such a beautiful display. Well worth a trip to Silvan.

Good entertainment for the children. But far too crowded so that they had to wait 30minutes for a balloon made into an animal and many people couldn't see the entertainment. I wouldn't pay to go there. Also as previous person said the parking attendants were unnecessary. I ignored them and found a space that someone else had vacated close to the entry.

very good. lovely weather always helps. So many beautiful tulips. Went on family day with lots of children having a great time. I would like to have a least one work shop session. otherwise a great day..

Fabulous event! Always lovely to see the displays at Tesselaars. The extra displays and vendors was a bonus too.

A lovely day, tulips were beautiful, food great, quiet for school holidays, great art and lots of activities for the kids to do (kids week)

Great weather and a great family day out. The car park was full. Cars were leaving in droves but parking attendants weren't allowing cars in. We parked 500 metres away, quite a walk with young kids. Many cars got booked as didn't see the no standing signs.

Fabulous floral festival in a beautiful location on a magnificent sunny day! We enjoyed the food, music and ambience of the setting thoroughly! A great day out!

A lovely day out & our first visit to Tesselaar Farm. Warm weather brought everyone out to see the tulips. Even though the end of the season, there were many tulips to photograph. Worth the drive - a great atmosphere.

Easy parking at venue.Unfortunately as we went only on last day,many of the tulips were already in full bloom or withering. Otherwise a magnificent sight of kaleidoscopic vibrant colours in this gorgeous Silvan. On-the-house has made this trip very affordable.Thank you.

Loved it. I also brought some family members and it was very enjoyable. The event was well organised and the tulips were stunning! The cameras were in overdrive on such a lovely day in a beautiful setting. The only down side was the huge crowds- but to be expected for such a big event.
