SERAPHIM TRIO IN CONCERT

Queen's College is excited to present the renowned Seraphim Trio as part of its 2014 Performing Arts Series. Helen Ayres (violin), Anna Goldsworthy (piano) and Timothy Nankervis (cello) will perform works by Beethoven and Dvorak from their critically acclaimed 20th Season.

The concert will be preceded at 4:30PM with a FREE master class presented by violinist Helen Ayres.

Since forming in 1994, the trio has established itself as one of Australia's most recognized and respected chamber groups. Winner of the 'Leading Piano Trio', as well as the 'Audience Choice' Awards in the 2001 Australian National Chamber Music Competition, Seraphim Trio offers its own acclaimed subscription series alongside a touring schedule which incorporates private soirees and high profile music festivals throughout Australia and internationally. Seraphim Trio maintains a robust commissioning program and is frequently broadcast on ABC Classic FM. Seraphim Trio's most recent recording, ‘Trout’, was released by ABC Classics in February 2012, to critical acclaim.

- Chapel Choir, Advent Service (Sun 23 Nov, 6:30PM)

Queen's College, located next door to The University of Melbourne, is an academic residential community that aims to provide an environment where students can develop their academic, social and life skills far beyond what they thought possible and which will benefit them throughout their life.
