The Laugh Stand: Mikey Robins & Festival Friends!!
It’s Sydney Comedy Festival time!!! A time where comedians of all types from all around the country, and indeed the globe, come to town, bringing laughs and good times aplenty.
The Harold Park Hotel in Glebe is an official venue for the festival, playing host to loads of big names like Greg Fleet, Tommy Dean, Peter Berner, Neel Kolhatkar, Luke Heggie and more for three amazing weeks of comedy!
To celebrate the comedy energy being at peak in one of the most iconic venues, resident monthly comedy fixture The Laugh Stand, is putting on a special showcase on Sunday 11 May at 7pm!
Hosted by TV and radio comedy superstar MIKEY ROBINS (‘Good News Week’), the event will showcase the best, brightest and biggest acts in town for the 2014 Sydney Comedy Festival!!
This is a super special show and our stellar guests are a MYSTERY so the only way found out how big this is going to be is to be there!! We have TV and radio stars, rising stars, local heroes, international sensations and award winners, all in one place, for a rare opportunity to cut loose outside of their shows.
And it’s Mother’s Day, so bring your mum along for a cracking good show!!

we go to comedy a lot, tonight was mixed bag some very funny eg Greg Fleet, others not so funny. But stand-up is hard, and people need to try out their new material.
Started almost 1/2 an hour late, so by arriving 30 minutes beforehand we were waiting almost an hour for it to start. Some of the acts were very funny, and I will recommend those in the Comedy Festival, but some of the acts fell very flat. As a warm-up to the comedy festival it is a good way to pick out which shows will be worth seeing, and which best avoided.
some were funny, others not Venue is good, and cheap 2 for 1 meal deal. Regular comedy shows, so standard varies
