Embodied Bellydance® – Embracing the Energy Field
I am very pleased to be offering the 3 day workshop again in Melbourne this year. Embodied Bellydance is beyond bellydance . . . it is a universal dance with a universal language - it belongs to the innate, intuitive parts of ourselves. Opening us up to a deeper knowing to a healing dance that is multidimensional and profound.
Inside of Bellydance there is Energy, we can go to this powerhouse and harness it to feed our dance. As a form, Egyptian dance physically expresses by way of the spirals, waves, circles, expresses a strong relationship to the patterns of the Chakras. The Chakras are very practical tools for creating strong physical and emotional connections. But not only that, this, combined with the spiritual energetic blue print of the chakras also harnesses the potential to heal ourselves and to feel good! As we bring into consciousness the subtle system of the Chakras though the dance of the spine, we open ourselves up to the gift we have inside. As a result of my own process of the combining of Egyptian dance to the physical expression of the Chakras thought movement and dance, I have personally experienced change, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Through entering a meditative inner conscious state, (chakras), feeling what emotions come up (Neuropeptides) observing your mind (Nerve plexus) and moving, dancing the curves, waves and spirals of your spine that radiate through the whole body (Body), you have the opportunity to expand self in all those ways, Spiritually, Emotionally, Mentally and Physically.
This can only give you life and your dance more vitality and authenticity what ever your dance background is. All welcome.
