New audiences are referred to us by our satisfied members. We
do not advertise.
2. Why are your tickets free?
Producers, venues, artists give tickets to ON-THE-HOUSE
to help promote their productions. So while ON-THE-HOUSE
is giving you a wealth of wonderful experiences, you are supporting the
arts. All we ask you to do is tell your family, friends and neighbors
to not miss the shows that you’ve already seen and loved. Your word of
mouth helps bring in a paying audience. Word of mouth is the least expensive
and the best publicity there is.
3. What do your free events include?
Our events include some of the finest shows and venues. Shows include:
well-reviewed dramas, cutting edge performances, repertory groups, musicals,
cabaret, classic Shakespeare, experimental theatre, film screenings, magic
shows, staged reading, lectures, chamber music, renowned dance troupes,
improvisation and comedy clubs.
4. How will I know what shows to choose?
We’ll give you information regarding the theatre, location, the performance
genre, reviews, personal recommendations. Check ON-THE-HOUSE
events page or simply call 0403947836 to speak to one of our representatives.
5. Where are the theatres located?
There are in different venues across Australia. Consider it a play buffet
and chose what suits you best. We get as many events as we can for our
members. It’s up to you to decide.
6. How many events can I go to?
Any event on our service (based upon ticket availability).
7. How many tickets can I get to each event?
You can apply ONCE to any event. The organiser might offer single or double
passes at their discretion. Sometimes, they may offer more tickets per member.
8. How do I find out what events you are offering?
Keep checking this site! Also, we send regular mail to let you
know what's on
9. How much does the membership cost?
Currently, this service costs $28.50/year. This is
a nominal charge for using this service and is necessary to for administration
purposes - such as maintaing the site, managing ticket allocations.
10. How do I reserve my tickets?
Reservations must be done via this website, go to WHAT'S ON
page. Once you have logged in, select the event, the number of tickets you want to book and click the reserve button.
11. How do I get my tickets?
Your tickets will be waiting for you at the Box Office one half hour before
curtain.
12. Is there a number I could call if I have a
query?

13.Do you disclose my information to any other
group/organisation?
Absolutely not! We give the organiser your name only so that they have
you on the door list.
